The first vouchers for the scheme will be issued at the end of September and the scheme will run for six months until the end of March 2021. All companies accredited to install these energy efficient measures will appear on www.simpleenergyadvice.org.uk for homeowners to choose a company to carry out the work.
In addition, the government has released details of how homeowners can qualify for the grants and how the glazing industry can help them improve their energy efficiency.
The government has split the scheme into primary and secondary measures.
Households will need to install at least one of the following primary measures below to qualify for funding:
Provided one of the above primary measures is included in the package of works, homeowners can additionally apply for funding towards secondary measures but the level of funding will not exceed that granted for the primary measures.

Glazing is seen as a secondary measure and therefore as a FENSA Approved Installer you need to ask your customers the following question:

If the answer is NO to the above then unfortunately your customers will not be able to take advantage of the scheme.
If the answer is YES, your customer may be able to apply for assistance through the scheme for those works.
